Demeter’s 2012 fragrance, Demeter Clean Skin, recreates the scent of having just stepped out of a refreshing shower. The bright top notes contain tart bursts of lemon and bergamot balanced by the sweet citrus of orange. Middle notes include the fleshy scent of peach paired with the distinctly feminine aroma of rose.

This fragrance while smelling clean has a powdery finish and some slightly floral notes. And although I can smell it. It does not waft or travel far. Which is what I was looking for. I love rich luxurious fragrances but I work In a fragrance free environment. 1-2 sprays seems to be undetectable to others unless they are very close. Demeter has a home run here for me. itbdoes in fact have a clean smell , without the cottony, laundry detergent smell.

I bought this spray as a cheaper alternative to my clean perfume, as that is more than twice the price of this. The smell is a little nauseating at first and is very strongly baby powder scented, but after it fades some, the lingering scent is relatively nice. I wouldn’t say that it lasts as long as I had hoped but it was an affordable product and you receive quite a lot so that is to be expected. Next time I think I might just splurge, as this can become an annoying smell quite quickly.

Clean Skin is just that. If you like Pure Soap (by Demeter) but think that one is just too strong, you may really like this one. A bit floral and a bit baby powder, this scent has a crisp feeling to it!

Very nice, long lasting fragrance. Somewhat floral, a slight soapy scent, maybe like Ivory…a little stronger than other Demeter fragrances I’ve tried….it is somewhat comparable to Philosophy’s impressive Grace but much more affordable! I enjoy this perfume!

i like it but not as much as pure soap… i didnt order this they were sold out and said it was comparable and it wasnt.. smells pretty just not what i wanted
