God, I have no idea how Amazon is allowed to sell this crap. The actual Issey Miyake is this perfect blend of citrusy and floral notes. It toes the line between the feminine and masculine masterfully. It’s inoffensive and subtle while still being unique enough to be a memorable scent. Whenever I would wear the actual scent to work, I’d always have coworkers saddling up right next to me, and commenting on how great I smelled.However, when I ordered this several months ago, I was surprised to find whatever swill was packaged into this had none of the subtlety of the actual scent. It smells deeply of alcohol and lacks any of the actual notes that the genuine article possesses. After stumbling upon the bottle recently, I decided to give it another shot, and now I’m absolutely nauseated by the scent wafting from my arms. The tiny 2 spritz I put on my arms is honestly worse than the smell coming from junior high locker room filled with copious amounts of Axe body spray and angst.Please, do not buy this product. It seems as if some people got the genuine article, but do you really want to gamble on this? Save yourself the money and just go to a licensed shop and pay the extra bucks. I still have practically the whole bottle left, but I’ll be throwing out the whole thing as soon as I finish this

Product received is not authentic. Box lettering is different from an original box I received a year ago. Scent wore off within an hour. Smell is like alcohol based. The bottle should say Parfum at the bottom.

I have been using this colon for years by comparing it to my old one I have Purchased from Macy’s I can tell it’s a fake the letters are not the same engraving on the bottom is not the same

I am a long time Issey Miyake user.Previously, I used the exact same perfume and smell was incredible and strong. I believe, this one is fake,it’s not even close to the ones i used. And it’s not eligible to return..

A mi esposo le encantó. Siempre ha tenido esta perfume pero se decepcionó porque el olor NO perdura. Sólo se disfruta en el momento. Con anteriores perfumes comprados en tiendas el aroma perdura hasta el día siguiente. Fabuloso el precio, el aroma es el mismo pero NO ES DE LARGA DURACIÓN. Es una pena por un perfume aparentemente perfecto.

This cologne has one of the freshest scents I’ve used. It’s a toilette so don’t expect it to last all day, but I would say it does last for most of my day. It’s exactly like the one I purchased in store, so I do believe that it is legitimate.

I love this cologne. It smells great and I get lots of compliments on it. Some have said that this is a fake but it isn’t. I have purchased this as gifts for friends and they are all so appreciative of it. I ave asked each one if it is real and they all say it is. This stuff is so popular it was stolen out of my bag by an American Airlines employee!

This was a blind buy for me and I thought it was awful. Generic and artificial scent that reminds me of walking through the perfume department of a department store. I do not recommend.

This perfume is simply deceiving at first. It starts with Tangy Citrus / Eucalyptus blast. But within something like half an hour it turns quite floral/spicy. Very little touch of wood till now. Then comes the most delightful dry down(Spices,mild tobacco,sandal). This is really a timeless perfume and i would say is a tad bit ahead of Aqua Di Gio in terms of freshness. Just got a 4.2 oz from Amazon. Simply the best fragrance in the world! Kudos to the genius who created it.

This is a stunning fragrance of Iris Pallida, apricot kernel, cardamom from Ceylon, musk, heliotrope, and hawthorn. I find this to be a wonderful cold weather scent. Initially, I was a bit worried about the apricot kernel, which is a very prominent scent in fragrance and one that trends extremely feminine – it is detectable, but not overwhelming. On me, this scent dries down to a attractive, spicy blonde suede reminiscent of a fine glove lined in silk. What an absolute delight to wear. I am a huge fan of Serge Lutens and highly recommend.

I started using serge lutens perfumes when I lived in Italy a couple years ago. I won’t use anything else. The fragrances are distinctive, rich, lasting. I’m very happy that amazon offers a wide range of their frangrances.

Daim Blond brings the collaboration between Shiseido art director Serge Lutens and “nose” Chris Sheldrake out of their earlier Arabian Nights opulence into a more modern idiom. Spices and leather are softened into an almost-skin-scent vibe, sweetened with apricot (osmanthus?) and made buttery-smooth with iris. The name means ‘pale suede’. Now, many classic leather scents feature the smoky/oily note of birch tar, which was traditionally used in the tanning of leather hides and instantly conjures up the aura of polished riding boots. Not so Daim Blond – here is a suede so soft, you can imagine brushing your cheek against its nap. It’s just a trifle too cool to name it a snuggly scent, but there’s definitely something quite comforting and inviting nevertheless. The only reason I withheld that 5th star is for the lack of sillage – I wish Daim Blond gave just a little more projection. Oh, well – it does last several hours at least, and it’s no hardship to reapply, as the scent is smooth and wearable from beginning to end.
